Books of Blood
Books of Blood is a horror movie based off Clive Barker’s (Hellraiser, Candyman) classic book. The anthology combines a few stories, but basically, you do NOT want to be in it.
Along with campaign posts for the movie, some in conjunction with Huluween, we cooked up some schemes that got fans screaming. (Good screams!)
To start, I ran a Reddit AMA with Clive Barker himself on r/horror. With all the marketing we did for the movie, this AMA had the most reach and was the most effective execution.
The man was quite nice, especially for someone who writes gruesome horror lit!
I also ran a Twitter takeover that inscribed people’s names into the horrific wall in the movie. 😱 Tag urself!
