Cannes Young Lions
My long-time drinking/art director partner (Claire Zimmerman) and I entered Young Lions twice and placed both times, heyyy!
Our second entry was in digital for The Jack & Jill Foundation (JAJF).
JAJF is an org that gives families who have a parent with terminal cancer an opportunity to have a great experience (e.g. SeaWorld, baseball games, etc.).
Our idea was to partner with HQ Trivia on Sunday, August 5 (American Family Day) with a one-day-only game mechanic for donations to JAJF.
Since JAJF is all about meaningful time with family, our add-on would give players the option to donate $1 for 10 extra seconds on a single question.
With the then-highest player count of 2.1 million, if just 5% of them participated, we would've raised over $100k – enough to send 70+ families on amazing experiences.
Our first entry was a print ad for Brave Beginnings, a non-profit that gives hospitals life-saving equipment for pre-mature babies.
